Pasta Bolognooche

Nutritional yeast is awesome, and pasta is awesome. This puts them together to be even more awesome.

Ingredients

  • 1lb whole grain pasta
  • 1/2 cup nutritional yeast
  • Chopped up garlic as much as you want
  • 1 tsp chili powder or crushed red pepper to make things spicy
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 1 bottle (24.5oz) tomato passata
  • Clump of fresh basil
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Water, enough to cook the pasta

Prep time: 30 minutes
Serves: 3 bros

Instructions

  1. Boil water with salt for pasta.
  2. Add pasta to water, and cook until ready.
  3. Ladle ~2 cups of the pasta water into a container for later.
  4. Strain pasta, set aside.
  5. Put the garlic, tomato passata, nutritional yeast, basil, rosemary, and chili powder into a pot at low temperature.
  6. Add used pasta water to the sauce.
    • Pro tip: Use the pasta water to clean out the tomato passata bottle to get all the passata out.
  7. Let simmer for 20 min.
  8. Mix sauce and pasta together.
  9. High-five nearest person.
  10. Eat.
